What's the oldest digital camera photo you have on your computer? When is it from? Let's see it!
I purchased my digital camera just over a year ago. I really wanted something that would take snapshots and not art photography just yet. So, the first photo would be this one. These are the college books that I kept and photography/architecture books of my favorite artists: Weegee and Mies van der Rohe.
I've read "Things Fall Apart" twice -- durning my senior year British literature class in high school and during my college World History class shortly after my junior year. It inspired me to read books from African novelists and to find classes that included a diverse selection of authors.
I'm not the best at reading for enjoyment. Since my work is all about reading, I find little pleasure in picking up a book and finishing one in a week's time. However, I have tried to finish "Songs from the River" by Ursula Hegi. It's a great look at European village life pre-World War II.
